Looking for ways to address needs for diversity, equity, and inclusion in your computing department?

The STARS Computing Corps IGNITE Program provides scholarships and training to support diverse cohorts of students and faculty to attend diversity-oriented conferences, like Tapia. The program includes cohort-focused activities throughout the academic year that build community and sense of belonging, and ignite BPC efforts within your home computing departments. With just-enough & just-in-time training to support post-conference BPC activities at participants’ home institutions, this program provides resources & a foundation for future efforts to broaden participation in computing.

Faculty, apply now for travel scholarships to attend our faculty training workshop, co-located with RESPECT@SIGCSE 2020! Workshop attendees are eligible to receive cohort scholarship awards that support up to 5 students to attend a diversity-focused conference.
